We sent out the first Loyalty Scheme statements this week after launching the scheme at the beginning of June. It was really lovely to see, in black and white, that so many of you are repeat customers. Obviously, you get a feel for these things as you package and despatch orders, and you start to recognise customer names, but there is something more special about seeing it displayed in a spreadsheet. Humbling. When I started The Little Green Door in December last year I had bouts of insecurity where I worried that I wouldn't have a single customer, that I'd be flogging my carefully chosen wares at the next village jumble sale and scouring the web for 'Situations Vacant'. The half-year seemed a good time to take stock and, having established a loyal customer base, start to give something back.
Customers can now expect a £20 e-voucher for every £200 spent with The Little Green Door from 1st June 2016. There is no time frame in which you need to have spent the £200 and the offer applies to everything including handmade, bespoke and sale items. We really do appreciate you choosing to spend your hard-earned cash in our little shop, when there are so many other online retailers. Your support means such a lot to me and you are helping me, bit by bit, to realise my dreams. Thank you.
I have been finishing off the last of the Cabbages and Roses cross-back overdresses this week. I have two more left to do and will have caught up with my order book, which is very cheering. I will not be making any more in C&R fabric until next Spring so if you were thinking of ordering one, better do so quickly! I have some Catherine Rose left in pink and blue, some Hatley dove, Hatley rose and Hatley cerise. Overdresses are £95 each and £5 postage; if you order today you can expect to receive yours within 14 days now. Drop me an email at [email protected] to order one. I will stop taking orders on 31st July.
The temperature has dipped considerably this evening, thank goodness, and I'm hoping for a good night's sleep. Rather optimistically, I've booked in for a body pump class tomorrow at 6.45am so I'd better lay out my gym clothes and get an early night. Think I might have a cola ice lolly and crack the spine of a new book first though. Lovely!
Enjoy the rest of the week!
