The Fairytale swan is a lovely kit to stitch. The colours stand out beautifully on the fabric we have chosen. Based on an embroidery design by our sister company The Stitchery, what swan doesn't want a crown and to sit on a bed of flowers!

The finished design measures 7.9cm x 8.3cm in 16ct aida/32ct evenweave linen and 6.9cm x 7.3cm in 18ct aida/36ct evenweave linen.

The kit includes a choice of either Zweigart 18ct Aida in Dirty linen or 32ct Zweigart evenweave in dirty linen. We then include a Bohin needle in the right size to match the fabric you have chosen. There are enough DMC threads included in the kit to complete the design, all loaded onto a thread card. Finally, the kit also includes the instructions and clear easy to read pattern.

You will need to have a simple sewing kit to include small, sharp, embroidery scissors and an embroidery hoop or q snap.

Our kits aren't designed to be difficult to stitch, it is more about the enjoyment and mental health benefits of taking some time out for yourself.
