The Stitchery Journal Anniversary Kit: Stitch Sampler - now with stabiliser
This Anniversary kit was launched to celebrate the first year for The Stitchery with numbers of the kit limited due to the use of vintage linen. The Limited Edition is now sold out but due to demand we have been able to re-release the kit on new linen - which is the same linen we use for the Alphabet sampler subscription.
We are now enclosing stabiliser with the kit.
We are running a 4th print of this popular kit and expect to be able to ship all pre-orders by 20th June 2023.
NEW for 2023 - There is a optional paid for class at studio.nickifranklin.com which launched in 2023 which is an 18-week course to learn a stitch a week, playing with your favourite threads.

To mark the end of a wonderful year of The Stitchery Journal I am excited to release my first anniversary kit!
The kit contains an A4-sized stitch sampler that I use for my Stitchery Masterclasses. Displayed in a grid format, with each box separated by running stitch, the sampler includes French knots, bullion knots, seed stitch, buttonhole stitch and split stitch to name just a few. There is space at the bottom of the grid for the stitcher to put their initials and date if they wish, just like the old alphabet samplers I find so inspiring.
The sampler is self-explanatory as to which stitches go where but the kit includes 5 full skeins of DMC embroidery thread (you can select a colour palette at checkout) and an A6 booklet with detailed instructions on how to complete each stitch together with a few of my favourite embroidery tips.
Colour Palettes:
Whites: a selection of five white, ivory, ecru and light beige toning threads for a neutral, white on white sampler.
Rosy Pinks: Three pretty muted pale pinks for flowers and roses with two muted greens for stems and stalks.
Muted Greens: Five toning green threads in a muted colour palette for a fresh and contemporary finish.
The kit is presented in a beautiful special edition folder illustrated by Kate Nicole of Oyster Bridge & Co
This is suitable for all embroiderers. This kit is rated 1 as per the ratings below
