We are delighted to introduce our Summer Celebration Stitch Box for 2025 on the theme Vintage Carnival. Think whimsical embroideries of bunnies and kittens in neck ruffs and party hats, slightly chubby mice in tulle performing magic tricks and puppies juggling their bones. Of course there will also be flowers, balloons, a moustachioed man lifting weights and a carnival Queen in her sparkling tiara.

We have so many lovely ideas for these mini embroideries and hope you can join in the fun this summer.

Following the size guide of our previous 12 Days of Christmas boxes, the Summer Celebration Stitch Box will feature 12 mini embroideries professionally printed to a grid that can be used whole or cut to make bowl filler pillows, bunting or hanging hearts (the embroideries will also work well as the centres of quilt blocks). The linen used is the high quality 100% linen that we use for larger pieces of work.

You will be provided with a large backing piece of the same linen featuring tiny motifs to complement the main embroideries, for the back of your work (should you use them for mini pillows, hearts or bunting) as well as stabiliser and, of course, a full set of DMC threads with which to complete the embroidery designs.

The patterns will be printed into a keepsake book, like our other box sets, but the Stitch Box will also contain a copy of the Big Top Bulletin - The Stitchery’s mini pattern book for Summer 2025. (If you are familiar with the Strawberry Post and the Pumpkin Post you will know that these pattern booklets are choc-full of gorgeous patterns and articles to inspire your season; there is always a series of online classes to accompany the books too. This year will see the Big Top Bash come to your [computer] screens.)

We are producing a limited number of boxes to ensure that we can meet demand hence the early pre-order option.

Boxes will ship in April 2025 and as an optional extra you can include a vinyl-fronted flat project pouch with matching thread bed/needle book made in-house at The Stitchery featuring party-appropriate Acufacum fabric.

WE ARE EXCITED TO REVEAL that our dear friend author and illustrator Christie Jones Ray will be selling a special Carnival edition of Eliza the Mouse to celebrate this sunny season of outdoor gatherings and soirees!
