Our dear friend Christie Jones Ray created a series of limited edition Eliza the Mouse and Baby Mouse on a Make Do and Mend theme with little patches on their bottoms, using one of our favourite fabrics. The tuffet (or pincushion, for the more practical-minded) is made using Nicki’s vintage French fabrics (and of course, a little patch that matches the one on Eliza’s bottom).

This listing is for the a tuffet (pincushion) kit to include a selection of vintage and antique fabrics (in pinks and reds) with 3/4” papers, sewing thread and fine sewing needle housed in a tiny ‘make do and mend’ handmade needle book (stitched by Nicki, made from old fabrics to co-ordinate with the tuffet kits). There will be a small set of instructions too.
